The Kitchen Cabinet Guy YouTube channel simplifies the profusion of information that makes kitchen cabinet shopping an overwhelming experience. To the buyer, tradesperson or homeowner, many parts of the kitchen cabinet world have become much too complicated. The hope is that our videos help consumers make more educated decisions for the large expense that kitchen cabinetry is today.
I founded Atlantis Kitchens in 1987 when there was not a kitchen cabinet store in every neighborhood and before the emergence of the big box stores like Home Depot and Lowe’s. I was later joined by my partner Manny. Our company grew into a premier kitchen cabinet distributor to property management companies, builders, contractors, designers, architects, and homeowners. The company staff swelled to support the sales. With a large staff, we found ourselves managing the staff rather than doing what we love. Realizing that a shift was necessary to align our company to our core values, we streamlined the business structure so we could return to designing kitchens and selling cabinets.
We are now trying something new with our blog. The plan is to create short pieces that are more focused on the brands we know well and on the challenges of making a kitchen cabinet purchase.
