Why Our Own Delivery Team Matters

At Atlantis Kitchens, the job is not finished when the cabinets leave the warehouse. How those cabinets arrive at the job site or a customer’s home is part of the service, and it’s something we handle ourselves with pride.

Unlike many dealers who outsource deliveries or rely on the factory to ship directly, we use our own delivery team. That decision is intentional. When the people unloading and placing an order work for us, accountability stays with us. Scheduling is clearer, communication is simpler, and the standard of care remains consistent from the moment an order is prepared until it reaches its destination.

What an In-House Team Actually Provides

Our drivers and delivery specialists know the products. They understand how cabinetry should be handled, how to protect finished surfaces, and how to work efficiently on active job sites. They are experienced in coordinating with contractors, property managers, and homeowners.

Because they are part of our company rather than a third-party service, they uphold the same standards we maintain throughout every stage of the process: professionalism, reliability, and respect for our customers’ time and property.

This approach also reduces the communication gaps that can arise when deliveries are outsourced. Questions are answered more quickly. Adjustments can be made without waiting on an outside dispatcher. If something requires attention upon arrival, the people on site are directly connected to the rest of our team.

A Practical Difference on the Ground

For trade customers, predictable and careful delivery helps keep projects on schedule. For homeowners, it means cabinets arrive in excellent condition and are handled by people who represent the company they chose to work with. In both cases, the experience is more controlled and consistent than when delivery is left to a factory truck or third-party carrier.

We’ve operated this way throughout our years in business because it aligns with how we run the company. We move a high volume of kitchen cabinetry, remain family-owned, and value the relationships we’ve built with both trade professionals and homeowners. Maintaining our own delivery team is simply an extension of those values.

Many dealers that sell lines such as Fabuwood rely on factory-direct shipping or third-party carriers. That model can work, but it removes a layer of oversight. We prefer to keep delivery in-house so that the same care that goes into selecting, preparing, and staging an order continues through the final step of the process.

If you’re planning a project and value a delivery process that remains under one roof, we’d be happy to discuss how our team handles every step. It’s one more aspect of our service that we’ve refined since 1987.
